At Circular Fibres, we are passionate advocates of a sustainable future driven by the principles of the Circular Economy. As agents of change, we embark on a journey to champion the circular economy framework for sustainable development.

Our start-up takes a holistic approach to the cornerstones of our impact remit – Education, Research & Analysis and Policy Advocacy.

  • Mansi Zaveri

    FOUNDER, HEAD OF SUSTAINABILITY SERVICES

    Mansi has over 20 years’ experience working across Oil & Gas, Mining and Financial Services sectors based in the UK and Australia. She has worked for the UN in their disaster relief programmes in India for several years.

    Her background is in Contracts & Procurement and Human Resources - specifically in International HR policy development with international labour law interpretations for Europe & APAC region. She holds a MA in Human Resources (International Law) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

    Mansi is an alumna of the United Nations Systems Staff College’s ‘Circular Economy and the 2030 Agenda’ program. She is an active community projects supporter and has advocated for circular economy transition projects in Perth. She is a member of the United Nations Association of Australia - WA Division’s Environment committee. Her forte is in policy research and advisory, governance, SDGs, stakeholder engagement, sustainable procurement, circular business models, LCAs, L&D tools and behaviour change campaigns, for-profit and for-purpose; paid and voluntary organisations.

    Outside of work, Mansi enjoys spending time with family, travelling and socialising with friends.

  • Marshel Widhartha

    PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - CIRCULAR SYSTEMS, COMMUNICATION

    Marshel has a unique background in data analytics, database management, digital communications and quality assurance. He has worked on digital transformation projects in Australia and Germany across Government, Defence, Construction, Shipbuilding, and Mining sectors. He is an ardent supporter of creating marketing solutions through infographics, science-based circular products and system designs. His firm understanding and demonstrated experience of digital media landscape using various content management systems allows him to aptly manage digital media content for wide range of audiences and educational campaigns. He holds an MBA from Edith Cowan university and is a QA/QC professional.

    Marshel’s passion for technological interventions to aid circular economy pathways to sustainability continues to fuel his drive for change. His commitment to do something for the natural environment making it circular and sustainable keeps him onto his technological research projects like developing a holistic circularity assessment tool.

    In his spare time, he enjoys reading, travelling, trying different cuisines, music and spending time with his wife and three kids.

  • Simon Hocking

    PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - ESG, STRATEGY

    Simon has over 30 years of diverse international business experience in Mining and Oil & Gas industry. He has successfully delivered major projects in the UK and Australia in Project Engineering & Management fields. Recognised as an expert in Studies Review for mining projects, he has extensive experience in strategic reviews of organisational operations, costing, systems and structures, process design and implementation planning.

    Simon has particular passion for circular economy principles as a mode for achieving sustainable development goals and reducing overall carbon footprint. His specialist advisory repertoire include – evidence-based research and analysis into resource efficiency, waste prevention, circular business models, strategy, research and implementation, data analysis, empowering clients to reduce their environmental footprint and strive towards net zero. One of Simon’s focus areas has been the idea of ‘Designing-out waste’ from the outset. This forms the basis of all our advisory recommendations.

    Outside of work, Simon is a family man, keen soccer supporter and coach.
